What is Chromium Oxide? Chromium Oxide Chromium Oxide Chromium Oxide is an organic substance. Chrome oxide is Cr2O3. It’s a fine hexagonal crystal that is light-green to dark-green. It will turn brown during hot temperatures and then green under cold conditions.
In chromium-rich, tremolite-skarn and post-quartz veins of chromium, Cr2O3 is found in natural mineral eskolaite. Eskolaite can also be found in chondrite.
Chromium Oxide Properties
