What are the applications of Tantalum Carbide Powder
Tantalum carbide is used primarily in the manufacture of carbide, capacitors and electronic devices. In order to improve the physical properties of the sintering structures, carbides are commonly added to tungsten carbide/cobalt powder wear (WC / CO).
Tantalum carbide is also used to inhibit the formation of large grains in order to ensure optimum hardness.
It can also be used to coat steel molds during aluminum alloy injection molding. It not only provides wear-resistant, but also low friction surfaces.
Carbides are used to create sharp instruments with extreme mechanical resistance. Tantalum carbide is also useful in the following:
